The Independant Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE) is used primarily for admission to independent, private, and some boarding schools in the U.S., Canada, and around the world.
The test has 3 different levels based on the grade of the test-taker:
- Lower Level for students in grades 4 and 5
- Middle Level students in grades 6 and 7
- Upper Level students in grades 8 and above
The ISEE consists of a short essay, and four multiple choice sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Mathematics Achievement.
